CMS has posted the California specific tool that will guide the readiness review process for health plans participating in the Cal MediConnect program – the duals demonstration.
As part of the demonstration, CMS and DHCS want to ensure that every selected Cal MediConnect plan is ready to accept enrollment, protect and provide the necessary continuity of care, ensure access to the spectrum of Medicare, Medicaid, and pharmacy providers, and fully meet the diverse needs of the Medicare-Medicaid population. As such, every selected plan must pass a comprehensive joint CMS/State readiness review.
CMS and California worked collaboratively to develop the state-specific readiness review tools. The tools are based on stakeholder feedback received through letters and public meetings, the content of the Memorandum of Understandings, state-specific procurement documents, applicable Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and input received on previous tools.
I have been working with senior’s in my family… Mother is 81 year old… each year I go home to help my Mother out.. My oldest sister had three stroke’ s and it has slow her brain down some what.. she live with my mother.that why I have to go home often to help take care of her business..mama mind is good,but, she try’s to protect her in many ways…. I am readdy to get my Licensing so I can help senior’s with the activities in life..also mananging cleaning living, cooking, paying bills ect.. making sure all senior are safe in their home…. and not the other way around….. Yes it time for me to get back to work….. so I can help my Mother out…. and other also, we are here to make a different in other lives…
