During this first meeting on May 17, 2012, the work group leaders provided an overview of guidelines for the quality monitoring, including rapid cycle quality improvement, and program evaluation.
A panel of speakers included Dr. Neal Kohatsu, DHCS Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Kenneth Kizer, Distinguished Professor, University of California Davis School of Medicine and Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, Alice Lind, senior clinical officer with the Center for Health Care Strategies, and Gary Passmore, representing the Congress of California Seniors.
