DHCS Webinar: What Physicians Need to Know About the Coordinated Care Initiative
Care Services (DHCS) is pleased to offer an
educational webinar for physicians and other providers on this topic.
Building on two years of stakeholder discussions, the CCI integrates delivery of medical, behavioral, and long-term care services. It also includes the Cal MediConnect program, which is an opportunity for people with both Medicare and Medi-Cal — called “dual eligible” beneficiaries or Medi-Medi’s – to benefit from more coordinated care.
Enrollment begins no sooner than April 2014 in 8 participating counties (Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino).
There are currently two webinars scheduled, 8/13 and 8/21, each being held from 5 pm – 6 pm. While future dates will be announced for other stakeholders, we ask that only physicians, other providers, and their staff register and participate (please RSVP using the registration link):

The webinar will include a 30 minute overview of the program, including continuity of care provisions, and 30 minutes of Q&A. Please again note, the content of the webinar will be relevant specifically for physicians, other providers and their staff
