The third work group meeting discussion will focus around roles and responsibilities for coordinating seamless access to services for beneficiaries with mental illness and substance use disorders.
The first part of the meeting will review the Appendix 2 that was included in California’s revised demonstration proposal submitted to CMS on May 31, 2012. That appendix describes a “Framework for Shared Accountability” for behavioral health services and is available below to download. The remainder of the meeting discussion will revolve care coordination strategies based on sample beneficiary scenarios described in the agenda.
